GLASGOW RIVALRY

Introduction to scenario
In this scenario, you're getting control over the management of Glasgow Rangers, from the Scottish super league. As you know, there is an age old rivalry between the two teams of Glasgow - Rangers and Celtic, about the religion subject : the Protestant Rangers against the Catholic Celtic. Until now, Rangers have pretty much dominated the Scottish football, and was the leader of the competition against Celtic. Now, things have changed : Celtic have been bought by the millionaire prince Albert of Monaco, who put the great Louis Van Gaal as manager, and gave a large sum of money for expensive player purchase. Celtic have been quietly developing in the pre - season stages, buying all the best players in the world, while Rangers slowly sank.The Rangers club has got into major financial problems, and had to sell many of his best players, and put you, a young, anonymous manager, in charge of the team. Right now, in the beginning of the 97/98, Celtic has the leading players and manager of the world football, while you have to manage with fair - medium players Your chairman demands, by the honour of the Rangers dynasty, that you get all possible titles, and defeat Celtic on the way. You must do all these with the current material you have.

Goals of scenario
You must lead the Rangers to victory over the age old rivals, Celtic, by achieving the all of the following goals in this current season : winning all possible titles : win the Scottish championship, win the scottish cup, and win the Champion's league. Plus, you have to defeat Celtic in both of the season games, with at least a two goals margin.

Limitations of scenario
You're not allowed to buy any player in this current season at the club. You must achieve all goals with your original squad.

Team condition
Following the deep financial problems, all of the Rangers club's (your) best players had to be sold. Your squad contains medium level players, who are not famous in the world football. However, your rivals, Celtic, have received a large amount of money from their current chairman, prince Albert of Monaco, and bought the best players in the world, and one of the best managers, and are on their way to winning all the possible titles, as their chairman demands. You mustn't let them.

System requirements
- An installed version of "Fifa Soccer Manager".
- "Fifa Soccer Manager" 97/98 season patch.
- "Fifa Soccer Manager" strings update (Recommended).

Installation instructions
- Unzip the 'GR' scenario file.
- Copy the file named "Glasgow Rivalry" into the "Fifa Soccer Manager\games" directory.
- Start the "Fifa Soccer Manager" game, and load the saved game called "Glasgow Rivalry".
